New Video - Koker – KoleWerk

Chocolate City Music presents the much anticipated single – ‘Kolewerk’ by the rapid rising singer, songwriter and all-round performer Koker, with topnotch Clarence Peters directed visuals. Koker’s Kolewerk was produced by the super-talented CBN in-house producer, Reinhard and it definitely has all the boxes checked in being 2016’s Nigerian Club anthem.

With video cameos from Reekado Banks, Falz, L.A.X, Loose Kaynon, Pryse and Dice Ailes, the nominee for the highly coveted Headies Award for the ‘Rookie Of The Year’ category shows no signs for slowing down even as his mega-hit single ‘Do Something’ and his more recently release ‘Kaabo’ still continue to own airwaves across Nigeria and definitely beyond. Watch, listen and feel the heat with Koker’s Kolewerk Watch and listen to Koker’s Kolewerk here.

New Video - LasGiiDi – My Squad ft. Bils

LasGiiDi was the hardest and most consistent worker in the industry in 2015. He started off the year with Murda and followed up Liu Kang (Freestyle). He then released Mujojo X Mr Renegade in July and it has amassed over 11,000+ YouTube views already. In August, he released Won Kere (Won Kere loosely samples Fatai Rolling Dollar’s mega hit “Won Kere Si Number Wa“) which has almost 7000 views. He then followed that up the international hit Orekelewa Ft. Sammie David which has amassed close to 13,000+ views to date. In addition to his consistency with the solid tracks and videos, he also performed at the prestigious 2015 AFRIMMA AWARDS, which is the biggest African Award show in the diaspora, after being the inaugural winner of the 2015 Set The Stage AFRIMMA Competition.
To Start 2016, LasGiiDi dropped a video for the previously released single 100’s which is already circulating well in the streets. Continuing with the consistency needed to take over the industry, he is out the video for another street anthem titled My Squad. On this one he enlists fellow street soldier and self acclaimed Prince of Lagos, Bils. As long as you have a group of family and friends that you love to death, My Squad is your anthem

Ride Along 2 - Movie Review

'I was very disappointed with this one. The first one set up the dynamic between Ice Cube's and Kevin Hart's characters but this one did not really take this relationship much further. I felt like I was watching the same film but with a different location and a really basic storyline. Kevin Hart was funny only because he plays on the fact that he is a silly guy. Ice Cube was so rigid and serious yet again that I felt Hart trying to make this film happen with all the crazy slapstick. For what I was presented in terms of a plot, this film was really too long and I knew what was going to happen within the first 20 mins. There were no twists or surprises. I almost felt like the writer thought it was a given that people would watch this crappy sequel because of how hard Cube and Hart were/are going in with the international promo for this film. Its a shame but this film does not cut it. No Oscars here then.'

GooseBumps - Movie Review

'I was pleasantly surprised with how decent this film actually was. Was a bit pissed because I have written a story so similar to this its crazy so I have to scarp that now. Anyhoo. I really liked it and how creative it was and how they used the real book characters as a basis for this film. It could have easily been scarier if they wanted but it was creepy enough for the kids to be able to watch it. I was really impressed with the performance from this young somewhat unknown cast. You know how much I hate the over acting, especially from the kids, but both Dylan Minnette and Odeya Rush (or mini Mila Kunis as I now call her) were really natural and they are such a cute pair.'
